This is ideal for those who need a consistent monthly business cycle. Additionally, clients can choose from various add-on options to customize their packages. 4. What software do you use?We utilize industry-standard software to manage financial records efficiently. Our primary tool is QuickBooks. We are in the process of selecting the best tax software to complement our services.

5. How do you handle confidentiality and data security?Protecting your sensitive financial information is our top priority. We implement robust security measures, including: - Encrypted USBs for each client - Secure storage of documents in a locked, fireproof cabinet - Adherence to business operation requirements and protocols We also require a signed Confidentiality Agreement and a Non-Disclosure Agreement between the company and the client, reviewed by a lawyer, to ensure mutual understanding and protection of data.

6. Can you help with tax preparation and filing?Absolutely. We offer services for simple personal tax preparation, tax returns for the self-employed, and partnerships. While corporate returns are not available at this time, we can assist with overdue returns for up to ten years prior.

7. How often will you update my books?The frequency of updates to your financial records will be determined during the creation of the Non-Disclosure Agreement. If documents need to be prepared outside the agreed range, we will outline the costs for preparing financial reports on short notice.

13. What qualifications and experience do you have?Our co-founder, MdG, holds a certificate in Bookkeeping for Small Business and a certificate in Business Administration–Legal Secretarial. With extensive experience in managing the administrative operations of a roofing business and working at law firms, she is highly organized and detail-oriented. She has also completed an Ethics and Codes course through the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
